Asperger's Recreation

In 2008 and 2009 the Scheme obtained short term funding to provide challenging recreation activities for young people with Asperger's Syndrome. These activities included low ropes, canoeing, archery, high ropes and team games.

The Scheme continues to seek funding to provide appropriately structured recreation activities for young people with Asperger's.

We would like to hear from any families that are seeking this kind of support so that we can demonstrate to our funding bodies that there is real need for such a program. We would invite those families interested in accessing any future Asperger's Recreation program to register with the Scheme.
